Yes! I worked with the geojson file on Grambank and downloaded it new every time I ran the script. This file used to store the information on the parameter value in the column "label", but after the latest migration, the column "label" displayed instead the name of the language.

It should be fine. I think until a while ago it only supported wals and glottolog, but not grambank, and that's why I didn't consider it for this project? It's actually awesome the range of databases they now allow you to include.

But, thanks to helpful pointers by @laserhedvig.bsky.social and Robert Forkel, it was easy to get it to work with the zenodo database. Plus, I directly added the second part on how to combine two data sets with a fancy legend and everything. Check it out!
