So the thing about the film HACKERS (and I'm glad you asked) is it was already both laughably hokey AND over-the-top-cool in '96. That mix of hokum and flash was already ridiculous when the film came out, and yet also captivating. That blend just worked, and still does! youtu.be/ATlszssL-eI
