One of the psychedelic experiences I wish I could have added to You Broke Me was a particular visual I had when I looked into a mirror. One of the things I was encouraged to never, ever do while knee deep in a trip was to look at myself in a mirror. My dumbass needed to know why.

Switched to Kubuntu little over two weeks ago, and I am having dramatically less headache on it than I was with Linux Mint. KDE Plasma 6 is great. Everything just works. No weird conflicts with file explorers. Setting up a dev environment was painless. Still some growing pains though.

(No major spoilers) I think what fascinates me the most about "You Broke Me" is how it recontextualizes Doom's gameplay in so many ways. At its core, Doom is an escapist power fantasy where you, as the lone hero, mow down hordes of hell. In YBM, you are alone, going through your own hell. 1/4
