Watching the second Devilman anime & LMFAO. REALLY Game Freak? I knew Salamence is based directly off Devilman but I saw the stance of this turtle Demon & IMMEDIATELY went " Wait a minute, where have I seen that before"

Updated it with VHS-Decode. Now you can flip between the two & see for ourself if the whole process is worth it or not. youtu.be/nNXospJUZ9o

So looking into it I'm kind of wrong? They did around a dozen episodes to test the waters for a full run. Then, when Conan needed 52 more episodes all at once, they had multiple studios working simultaneously to make the deadline. Some were Japanese & the quality speaks for itself.
Kenny Lauderdale"No No No! Get these Japanese animators OFF our show, & make it look like shit."
I remember showing friends those (no laugh track) edits & it broke them straight out of the matrix. I basically ruined TV for a ton of people. Like OBVIOUSLY these shows weren't filmed in front of a live studio audience, but you'd be surprised how many people were fooled youtu.be/jKS3MGriZcs
u know what, i liked it when the tv told me when to laugh

It's only the intro so far, but some of the cuts in Sayonara Lara are being done with real cel art. How cool is that?
Kenny LauderdaleI'm glad they're starting to release anime that "looks" like anime again. Starting to see shows that feel like they could have come out in 1996. I'm not jumping on the "New thing bad" bandwagon, but I think we're all tired of the same shows that look like they all came from the same factory.
Today I uploaded three rare VHS from the very beginning of the 80s anime fandom. Honey Honey Episode 1, Return of the Dinosaurs, & Harmony Gold's English Dub of Call of the wild (1981). It's not much but I hope someone finds it useful. Enjoy. youtu.be/F0tUy-dNXXs
Video is by や団 (Yadan / Ya-dan), which released the “GGG退官ビデオ” series of parody MAD/AMV-style anime fan videos on tape. These were late-1990s doujin works making fun of GaoGaiGar, Sexy Commando Gaiden, & other anime which aired 1997–98. They mainly consist of high-effort MADs. youtu.be/pTT00fY2-Yw
Going through tapes & found a Doujin video. I wonder if it's lost media? Box says GGG on it.
Seems to be back up??? I bet you it's blocked in certain countries or something. Anyway I rendered this in 8K, but Youtube only lets you go up to 4K before you have to hand them your driver's license, so I dunno. Grab it while you can I guess. youtu.be/suVlSaoVc3A
LMAO, well I tried. Some things are lost media for a reason. I'll throw it on the internet archive when I get the chance.

Kenny LauderdaleHey is this lost media too? Not to have my ENORMOUS fanbase do all the leg work, but I have it, & I don't see it anywhere online. If someone can prove this is nowhere on the internet I will upload it for Free. Full title is "藤子不二雄Aのアニメ・ゴルフ・ルールブック"
Sun Faded ___-Chan ...now there's a good name for an anime. I just need the perfect old media related word to put in there. Something magnet related? Rental related? Also came up with a guy character called "Oxide Joe", on account of VHS Tapes are made of Iron Oxide. Maybe as a store mascot.
Kenny LauderdaleNote to Self: Make anime about an abandoned rental store manned by a Robot girl that turned light blue because she waited for her owner in the store window for 400 years & became sun faded. Call it something like "Over-Do", & have the character act out VHS tapes they find like in be kind re-wind.
