I'd love to see a study of the effects on faculty, students, and staff when they see their university as hypocritical, especially around issues of social justice. I imagine these are pretty common sentiments that have measurably negative effects. It'd be useful to have evidence of that.

A couple hours ago, I woke up to messages about CCCC being dissolved and absorbed into NCTE's College Section. I don't know what this means for the 2027 conference, but I do know it'll be different, if it's held at all.

A nice surprise to see my colleague at @utah.edu featured here! Dr. Robbins’s post is spot on. Unfortunately, the College of Humanities has been pressured to do the exact opposite over the last year. Writing faculty now face more students per section, higher workloads, & less time for each student.
