As a long time Amnesty donor, I wrote to them and told them how very disappointed I was in them and that they needed to stand up for trans rights, right now. I've never in my 30+ years supporting @amnesty.org seen anything like this and am incandescently angry with them. Trans right, right now!
WinterAmnesty had a Palestine protest same day as Falmouth Trans Pride; when both marches passed each other, we spontaneously chanted "Free! Free! Palestine!" & they chanted "Trans rights are human rights!" in solidarity with each other. This is very disappointing. And I wonder how their volunteers feel.
