Ryan PackerSound Transit confirms that it shattered its one-day ridership record on July 6 with the U.S. vs Belgium match. 309,000 riders pressed onto Link trains that day. 5.4 MILLION riders used Link during the entirety of June, easily clearing the previous monthly ridership record.

Ryan PackerJust in: Hannah Sabio-Howell has received the endorsement of the 43rd District Democrats over her opponent, incumbent State Senator (and Senate Majority Leader) Jamie Pedersen. Pedersen losing the 43rd LD endorsement is a major upset.
This is a heartbreaking failure in the WA LEG. It would have made it easier for those harmed by negligent drivers to seek a remedy. It passed the House just HOURS after Lili Moreno was killed by a driver in Capitol Hill. Too often, our laws protect dangerous drivers more than the people they kill.
