A few months ago I said we Canadians should NOT buy American produce not just because of tariffs but because America has been dismantling their food inspection and health regulations. And here we are, with tainted U.S. lettuce.

Killam REIT made $29.4 MILLION in 2025. I live in a Killam property. Our AC unit is leaking. We asked them to fix it over a week ago. They still haven’t fixed it. The leak is now causing water damage and mold. Our unit also gets up to about 30C by mid day. $29.4 million.

I thought about buying stock in air conditioner manufacturers as the world heats up…but then found out a lot of HVAC companies are expanding to meet the cooling demands of AI data centres. So no. I will not be investing in Carrier or any other HVAC company.
