"transforming Game Pass into a bustling indie library could work to both rapidly shrink the costs of running the service, as well as retain more subscribers" IMO the primary reason Game Pass failed to hit its subscriber targets is because the mass market simply does not care to play lots of games.

People say stuff like ‘Bluesky’s not real life’ but nobody who uses this app regularly is getting diarrhea from lettuce
Ma CarolI’m shocked at how many people I met at the produce section of 3 grocery stores I go to that had no idea about cyclospora. Including the staff working there. Now I understand how many people don’t follow politics and have no idea what’s going on.

Too many people in this space ultimately only care about their ability to play games. Their entire ideology is based on the premise that games are some right accorded to them. When that's your most core belief, nothing serious can be built on top of it.
Nate ShearerI’ve seen peers completely ignore BDS while championing the “power of the PlayStation Boycott” in the same breath recently. Frankly, I’ve just so little respect for these people. Why is it a race to be the most unserious person imaginable lately?
