I WANT TO SAY I'm not bragging or saying "told you so"- I'm VERY insecure tbh but over the years I realized sticking to self publishing kept me safe. Everyone else who publishes, has a contract, etc: SHOULD have also been kept safe and paid well. We should all be able to make comics w/o bullshit

Everyday I am justified by self publishing my own work and crowdfunding it bc I would've start biting off people's heads for the shit they're doing to BIPOC indie comic artists right now. Silver sprocket, short box, mixam-- they're all just small presses fucking over even smaller artists.

I have a d sized chest with broad shoulders despite being petite as hell so trans tape, binders, combo, doesn't work for me. I've been in a sports bra and it's the only thing comfy/bearable enough. I'll be okay I just wanted to bitch 💜 But maybe someday I'll crowdfund for my surgery...

I keep getting binder recommendations and it's infuriates me like yes I'm nonbinary but I'm also autistic and live in Hell (PHX) so wearing something expensive, hot and uncomfortable won't work at all for me, but top surgery is so expensive and far away I'd rather just wear my sports bra. Sighhhhh
