I have gotten through my entire life so far without it. & if I am being honest I see the people who rely on it in my life & I do feel like I am doing a bit better than them in the problem solving department.

I think we can certainly have *better* protections than we currently do, but we definitely can't protect against this robustly until we find a way to change the culture of America. The right actually does undestand this, hence the constant attacks on culture from them.

Erin BibaI’m personally totally fine with this being an app where we talk about things other than politics. And the perception that we’re the liberal politics app is a barrier to us all having a little fucking peace by letting the whole site spend a bunch of hours having fun talking about, like, flowers.
This is so damn important for people to grasp about what makes you left. I cannot stand many of the people with me on the left as individuals but I fully believe they & I & everyone else should live in the socialist world. Maybe they would even be less of an asshole in that world. Me too.

I do! It drives a lot of people I know up the wall, even some leftists, somehow, but yeah, I think I should have free movement and so should you. Any nuance to this should be strictly limited & subject to constant oversight.
