He seems to have forgotten the reason it was banned in work places before an official government ban was for health and safety reasons, employers not keeping their employees safe from secondary smoking which was known to cause lung cancer in non smokers. I’m sure employers are up for being sued.

Not really I worked in a pub in my 20s before the smoking ban, I’ve never smoked. Getting home washing clothes and yourself was such a joy.

Exactly this. The cut on VAT to electricity supply makes a difference to us. We have no gas supply to our property like the rest of the Road. Even though we’ve installed wifi operated modern efficient heaters and efficient water heater it still costs in winter. We now pay no VAT on energy costs.

Agree but there’s no control over social media. Example recently Tory councillor made spurious claims about our LibDem leader of council and forced a vote to have him removed. She failed as it was untrue. She then went and made the same claims on FB that he works for the large house building firms.
