I stopped growing vegetables (out of frustration) and switched to a pollinator garden last year — and it brings me soooo much joy. I love to float in the pool and admire the bees and butterflies on my flowers.

My goodness, is this dish ever beautiful in colour and texture and flavour! My cousin served it to me last week and I just had to make it again for myself. I even followed the recipe (mostly). It's vegan too — until you add fried halloumi. Such a great recipe! (I will post it below)

We need government grocery stores in Canada. The big grocery stores in Canada have gouged Canadians for far too long.

On the way home from a week away at camp, kiddo wanted to know what he'd missed — not at home, but in politics 😆 When I told him Doug Ford had a rough week, he leaned forward, rubbed his hands gleefully, and said, "Tell me every glorious detail." I have created a beautiful monster 🤣
