Andy Reynolds27 июл., 18:34Moved about 450 miles to a new house, so the game room is in flux. Got in one whole game of Scout and one partial game of Botswana. But now headed to Gen Con later this week. What did you think is STCC: To Boldly Go? I’m not a Trekkie by any stretch, but love the base game.

Andy Reynolds7 июл., 03:35Sergiño Dest can’t play in a game like this. Great wing back if you need to break down a low block, absolutely no interest in defending.
Andy Reynolds6 июл., 17:25Bottom line is no one is well-served by this. FIFA need a legitimate appeals process. And the door to this was opened by suspending match bans on four other players that normally would have seen them miss group stage matches.
Andy Reynolds6 июл., 17:23Leaving Trump out of this (because he’s a useless, corrupt POS)… Andy Davies, former Select Group and EPL ref: “VAR made their recommendation based on slow-motion and still replays, which is not aligned with VAR protocols, as these should only be for point-of-contact purposes in a red card tackle”
Andy Reynolds6 июл., 17:07By that logic does it not matter that the video assistant referee violated the rules by reviewing the Balogun foul in slow motion and with still photos, which were then used to upgrade from “no foul” to “red card and one game suspension”? Which rule breaking matters more? They’re in conflict here.
Andy Reynolds6 июл., 17:04FIFA could have saved themselves a lot of trouble by saying “the vide assistant referee did not follow established protocols when reviewing the foul by Folarin Balogun. As such, we are suspending the one-match ban until after the tournament.” Would have been both the correct outcome and process.
Andy Reynolds6 июл., 17:02The others were pre-tournament, which is different, but also in contradiction to the established rules that red card suspensions are carried out in your country’s next match. And no. It was a clear red, and the VAR followed the review protocols, which he didn’t with the Balogun review.
Andy Reynolds6 июл., 14:28This is the fourth red card that’s been suspended to allow a player to avoid a suspension in this year’s World Cup. Cristiano Ronaldo, Nicolas Otamendi, and Moises Caicedo all had red cards suspended until after the World Cup so they wouldn’t miss games.
Andy Reynolds2 июл., 04:38Not just not a yellow. Not even called a foul on the field. Was clearly a yellow, but never a red. Ridiculous.
