What we need is some popular creators to make content with an alternative system like Pathfinder. The massive popularity of D&D is relatively recent. For decades it was super nerdy and niche. It was Stranger Things and podcasts that made it blow up. New fans probably don't know about alternatives.

Had a really frustrating night last night; WoW was crashing on me, I spent 30 minutes setting up a tight strategy for a hard fight in Triangle Strategy and then lost my two mains within 2 minutes, and then Etrian Odyssey II was being brutally difficult. Some days are just off days.
