One of my favourite webcomics is coming to a close. Bittersweet - I'm excited and happy for the characters, and for the 'ending'; but I'll miss it. It'll be one of those sites I keep reflexively checking for years after it's finished.

Reminds me of the ice machine on the NOAA ship Pisces, which had an optical sensor to detect when your hand was in front of it to dispense the ice. The problem: dark skin wasn't reflective enough, so it refused to dispense ice for a third of the crew. Jim Crow-ass Ice Machine.
