I'm no fan of hers either. She's the Squad version of the idiots who were screeching "defund the police" the last 10 years. Plenty of fodder for the propagandists.
My hubby damaged more cars than anyone I know. He backed into a light standard in a grocery store parking lot once. Took a too-soon turn off the freeway and ended up bouncing across a field next to the off-ramp. Rear-ended someone turning left on Seattle's Airport Way.
My second favorite car was a red Celica two-door with gray leather seats bought second-hand from a friend who was up-sizing to an SUV. That Celica was a stick shift. I hadn't driven stick since my sister tried to teach me in her V-bug (arrgh) -- but the Celica's transmission was smooth.
As long as the Republicans control Congress, there will always be vital funding bills that have poison pills supporting the military-industrial complex & incidentally a genocidal Israeli president. I'd guess most Dems who voted yes did it more reluctantly than Cornyn & Tillis voted to move Blanche.
I'm amused by my younger sister using the rear-view camera on her new Subaru hybrid to parallel park. I still do it the old fashioned way in my 2004 Subaru, just like I did when I passed my 1st driving test at 16. 😁
Yes. WA-5 may be a red district (as is all of WA-4), but the city of Spokane is blue even though Trump took the county by 14,000 votes. Both districts are getting hammered by these wildfires.
I'm surprised MAGAtes aren't blaming Democrats for putting the Cascade Mtns between them.

I just saw a recent tour video about Osaka, Japan places to see; electric streetcars and short distance trains were a favored choice to get around rather than Uber or busses.
