I’ll never be cis. I’m a gnc nb person who’s re-approaching their masculinity through a strictly transgender lens & I don’t think anyone in this community benefits from categorically denying someone’s gender-identity on the basis of what’s in their pants, how they suffered or express themselves.

identifying this way doesn’t detract from anyone’s life nor community, it just fundamentally doesn’t. I’m not claiming to have lived the same history as many transmasc folks do, but I am finding the same joys as them. embracing my masculinity & embracing “boyhood” in a way that makes me feel myself!

I have tried to hold space for & understand other’s feelings abt this irt my identity but it’s consistently broken down. Whether from projected emotions, internalized dysphoria or even just a lack of communication or a willingness to understand. & I’m standing my ground.
