Personally I largely don't get texts about donating to dems much anymore. Mostly I just get photos of candidates sent to me with zero context for why. Sometimes I don't even know who I'm looking at.

Yeah, I guess I considered the prospect of redoing the whole franchise a tall order and that you'd be talking exclusively about the original series. And yeah, I get you on that "processed" feel. I do think it would make sense for them to redo Dragon Ball with modern tech/sakuga, though.

Excepting a Wario64 post, I don't see movie ads anywhere pretty much ever. I basically exclusively rely on movie reviewers I'm subscribed to to know that movies are coming out at all.

I guess I find that confusing, since Dragon Ball is ~1:1 stylistically. Whereas GITS was altered dramatically for each of its animated incarnations. Nothing else is really coming to mind, but I guess Spriggan would be an example of "doesn't look like the manga". But I'd like that to stay that way.
