I buy corn from a farm stand. Get it home strip off the outer part smear it with olive oil, season with salt and pepper & roast it on the bbq. Let it cool use a knife to strip it of kernels. Make a bucket of corn salad with 3 cobs and the rest of the kernels go in the freezer to be enjoyed later.
