As an aside, Joe Howe being under a "Suburban Plan" feels wild to me. The city has grown. 4km from downtown core is suburban?!

Doesn't make sense here either. I don't really drive on Joe Howe but it's regularly clogged with traffic (which also impacts transit), and I can only imagine a drive thru further causing a mess. More than once I've seen vehicles "sticking out" of the drive thru Tim's on Bayer's Rd, blocking traffic.

That's wild, I guess it doesn't fall under the Centre Plan requirements where IIRC no new drive thru's on the peninsula because it's *just* outside of it? @wayemason.bsky.social probably knows more although I think he's tired of being tagged on such issues these days :-)

I've only seen a few this year in my yard so far .. which is odd cause they were everywhere last year. Maybe in a week or two it'll be worse, though.

The all-way, multiple stops for both parties (drivers/cyclists) is confusing to me. I feel this should have been treated like a roundabout where you yield to those already passing through.

Not Sam but I planted mine three years ago. Just a single bush and it’s been producing daily eating this year. I also propagated from it to begin a new one, so now the engine is going. My currants are similar. Second year was Ok but taking off this year.

We were discussing in the below thread the lack of repair stations (sadly, many are broken). New one in HRM up in Bedford! Will it last? Love the pump! Good location, though.
