The variance of polls in this race has been staggeringly broad, which tells me they are fairly worthless at this point. One shows Bankhead with 30% to Bodnar’s 15, the next shows Bodnar ahead.

An average margin of error of polls of 7% is a pretty meaningless statistic. Most polls these days have abysmal response rates and insane selection bias because who the heck responds to web polls or spam texts. Regardless, there’s no way that Alani is dropping out.

No, the greatest risk to democratic values is trying to force out a democratically elected woman for a man with sex discrimination scandals and no discernible policy positions.

I reached out to her and already got an answer back. She says she voted for McCain in 08, Obama in ‘12 and has voted Dem ever since.

You would think! They haven’t yet explained how torpedoing their own party’s candidate is supposed to work vis a vis Montana election law. We’re in uncharted territory. Something this dumb has never been tried here before.
