Expressing solidarity with TPS holders and asylum seekers in view of today's terrible Supreme Court rulings. The American people embrace newcomers who need protection; the court made blatantly political decisions, ignoring the Trump administration's clearly racist intent in slamming the door shut.

On this World Refugee Day, let's rededicate ourselves to the core American values of welcoming the stranger and providing safe haven to the persecuted. Doing so makes our communities and our country better and stronger. Turning away refugees and demonizing newcomers diminishes us as a nation.
