The Dem establishment is far more concerned with keeping a broken and corrupt system than fighting for core Democratic principles. The Dem party is moving left whether they like it or not.

This is what happens when you act on a whim, your gut or because someone told you to do something and not on intelligence, facts and America's best interests.

Democrats must run on getting money out of politics. It's not just something nice, it's necessary or the corruption will continue and we will get another Trump in the future.

Politicians get to decide on their own healthcare, perks and salaries. The rest of us have to take what we're given. It is completely upside down.

This needs to be said by all democracy loving countries. Don't pander to Trump. Don't bend the knee.

Trump will do what he wants when he wants because we have lost all ability to stop him through normal systems. We can't prevent him from doing anything if he decides to do it. Americans who don't like this need to internalize it and act accordingly.

I didn't think the book "Regime Change" was all that revealing or surprising, but one thing it did drive home through many private conversations is that Trump's primary concern is always himself, what he wants, who he wants to punish, etc. The American people play no part in his decisions.

The Republican Party is now the safe place for every religious fanatic, sexual predator, flat-earther, swindler, pedophile, cheater and low IQ individual. It's their home.

Most of the people who worked for Trump during his first term and were fired or quit said the same things publically. Yet 77 million voters ignored all of this to make Trump president in 2024. It still makes me crazy.

The only voter fraud we have seen is committed by Republicans. These are all bogus fixes to a problem that doesn't exist, and it is all intended to help Donald Trump and the GOP.

This is how deep the Republican hatred of liberals and experts runs. They would rather put their own lives and the lives of their families at risk than concede we're right about something.

Of course it's a legitimate concern. We've been saying that since Day 1. Trump is a fascist, doesn't care about the Constitution and there is no one to stop him. It's not a joke, but Americans still aren't taking it seriously.

Americans simply don't realize or comprehend the situation we are in. We are still too comfortable, too sure that the election will solve everything and we won't have to get off the couch and miss the next episode of House of the Dragon. We are naive.

I think that greed is an addiction. Needing more money is just like needing a fix. There is no logical reason why a person has to have enough money for 1000 lifetimes. It's a psychological need to acquire more and more and more.

In the U.S. today, our 'authority figures,' the people we're supposed to trust to be honest and knowledgeable, are a bunch of whack-jobs and lunatics spreading conspiracy theories and dangerously false information. If they think trust in government is low now, they ain't seen nothin' yet.
