Carbon capture and storage is the subject of considerable hype – but as it stands, very little CO2 is being captured and stored.

This paper finds that moving to +fully organic+ egg farming in the UK would produce an extra 877,000 tonnes of CO2. That's equivalent to 0.2% of the UK's greenhouse gas emissions. Not huge. I'm in favour of plant-based diets but i don't know if this is a difference that's worth stressing over.

As the Conservatives post this, it's worth knowing that right-wing newspapers have printed 230 editorials criticising Ed Miliband since Labour won the election in 2024.
