The “higher” polish of old Nintendo games vs the “lower” polish of the newer games:

If the GBA actually got a mainline Mario, I wouldn’t care about it, but Nintendo’s quality and quantity fell off a cliff so hard in the GameCube/ GBA era that they completely skipped Mario on one of their game systems for the first and only time. I think it’s fair to criticize these games even more.

Can we lock you and your friends up in a mental hospital so we can figure out how Nintendo’s modern gaming philosophy is worse than the mountain of slop they thought they could get away with putting out in the past?

And you guys were having a conversation about something that nobody else agrees with considering their newer games review better and win more awards than any of their prior output to Switch 1. You guys just probably sounded like Nintendeen cult members, so basically grifters.

You said you’re ripping into modern Nintendo game design, yet almost nothing points to that needing to be the case. It’s called growing up and not being their target audience anymore. You don’t enjoy games now the same way you did in your teens, and that’s ok! Doesn’t mean the games are bad at all.

So why would you even pick up a Switch 2 when it was laid out what their game line up was back in April?

I’m guessing their very bad and hated games they make compared to the past where they never made a single bad game prior to the Switch 1, and also don’t forget how slow their output is compared to the past, because droughts never existed prior to Switch 1!
