Lincoln County, Maine is two votes away from losing its last labor and delivery unit. Not because families stopped having babies. Because a hospital system decided a birth center wasn’t profitable enough to keep open. This is what greed does to rural health care.

Susan Collins handed ICE $70 BILLION last month. Monday, an innocent man was shot dead in the streets of Biddeford. He had a 3 year old. Abolish ICE. Prosecute the agents who did this. Vote Susan Collins out.

In January, Susan Collins said people who are here legally “should be able to continue to go to work.” Joan Sebastian Guerrero was here legally. He was on his way to work. ICE put four bullets through his windshield. Senator, he was doing exactly what you promised. The agency you fund killed him.

Today, Susan Collins said eliminating ICE “would make our country less safe.” Less safe. A man is dead on Pool Street. His daughter is three years old. Senator, Maine has never felt less safe than it does with ICE in it.

Over the past 24 hours I’ve joined hundreds of Mainers in the streets. A vigil in Biddeford. The gates of the ICE facility in Scarborough. Candles in Lewiston tonight. Maine is grieving. Maine is furious. Maine is not backing down.

Susan Collins cast the deciding vote: $70 billion for ICE last month. No body cameras required. No accountability. Now an innocent man is dead in Biddeford. Shame on her. Vote her out.

An innocent man was murdered by his own government in Maine this morning. Abolish ICE.
