Amazing time playing under @goobernuts.itch.io! Had a chance to try his WIP Mangayaw - Folk Hero Edition. And it is looking good. We delved into @munkao.bsky.social 's Deluge at Drizzle Distillery. Managed to free the CEO, find a legendary item, and had Rain God duke it out with [Redacted] God.

I will blog about this eventually, but I wanna say: Root RPG having no Defy Danger-like move or any D20 save-equivalent move is one of the best version of PbtA I've ran and played. Arguably best PbtA design evolution. It also made a bad decision of doing Weapon Moves gated by equipment tags.

Running two different Root RPG campaigns simultaneously is as draining as it sounds. But it is fun to generate the woodland, and make plans behind the scenes 😉 Here's two Woodland maps of each campaign's current set. Lake map players are already making ruckus. Autumn map players just starting.

#brainfart #ttrpg I'm always fascinate by Pokemon world, where title is a catch all term for monsters, spirits, ghosts, and gods. Somehow humanity has established ways to pet and train them to be companions. And eventually technology to catch them and "lobotomize" moves out of them.

A life goal worth fighting for

I intend to post my #ttrpgwrapped for 2025, but I still have a couple of holiday games I wanna include in the count Hopefully before New Year, but definitely after New Year. I also have "the ex I still call" rpg in my bag this year. But I'm just using her to make others play indie games, I swear!

Thank you to everyone who've bought the bundle, every dollar is appreciated. It is a bit short, so I will have to find other ways to get the remaining needed for the repairs. Laptop fan noise is getting more frequent lately, and I should really have it checked soon.
