My reactions are - everything before Ramna feels like she was learning how to make Ramna (which is great). Everything post Inuyasha (which is also great) feels like she’s trying to recreate Inuyasha again.

I think one could take the idea of her losing her powers, going back to Cairo, running into shadow king - we see flashbacks of her as a kid controlled by him to pick pocket. She has to beat him at his height of power while she’s without powers so we can see how awesome she is even without powers.
