Just saw that ad for Musk's Starlink using video & voiceover of notorious nonce Arthur C. Clarke. Seems somehow both too on-the-nose & perfectly apropos all at the same time.

My guess? They have him pumped full of every wonder drug currently available to keep his vitals functioning + the occasional goosing [stimulants or...?] when he has a higher profile public appearance. Dwindling returns = increasingly, either he crashes & nods off or his real personality leaks out.
