7/ in those PH announcements vs. in the papers that will eventually be written in order to contribute to knowledge of risk factors for negative cyclosporiasis outcomes. Could the info. be deanonymized if the families talk? Yes (esp. as there are only two), but if they do, then it already has been.

6/ serves no true informative purpose; it simply reassures (and so, gets folks back into restaurants). If messengers actually wanted to inform (more than they want to persuade), there's no great reason not to name contributing factors - if it's anonymized, I see no greater disclosure violations...
