I wonder what it would look like it his own party wasn't more interested in attacking him than Rogers.

Simon Rosenberg

El-Sayed's results here - trailing Rogers by 10 - is the worst performance by a Democratic candidate in any Senate battleground general election poll this entire cycle.

Reminder that if there’s a single group responsible for the Nazis coming to power it was the “Centre Party”

Adam H Johnson

Centrists in Congress (anonymously) threatening to leave this Democratic Party. James Carville calling for a schism. Top Dems refusing to endorse Dem primary winners. Pouty (also anonymous) pro-Israel donors in MI calling for a donor strike—I wrote about the emerging centrist Uncommitted Movement.

Kagan’s defense of the MAGA justices makes no sense and if she believes this, it suggests she has no idea the great responsibility she has as a public figure.

The problem with voter ID laws is that white people are NOT overconfident. It's a "velvet rope regime" where white people's shoddy ID will be "good enough" and Black people's identical ID gets scrutinized and votes possibly thrown out by some 2020 election denialist running a local board.

Josh Chafetz

Would love to see how these results--which test voters' *perceptions* of whether they could provide proof of citizenship--line up with how easily various subsets of voters *actually could* produce proof of citizenship. In particular ... (1/2)

The federal government's hacking law is so broad it's been used against reporters using another person's HBO Go password, but OpenAI's models broke out and launched a multi-vector attack on Hugging Face and no one seems to be talking about charges.

I've lived long enough to see Critical Race Theory cynically ported into Originalism to support the proposition that "the Constitution is structurally racist and that's awesome." What a time to be alive.

Joe Dudek

From Flowers's brief on behalf of Richard Epstein in the birthright case: We must always remember that the framers were deeply racist, so their laws should be interpreted as being similarly racist.

Never beating the "now that other schools can legally pay players, the SEC wants out" allegations.

Chicago Sun-Times

"They're real," Greg Sankey said Monday of talks with school presidents involving the SEC separating itself from the rest of the NCAA.
