Also, the screenshot is yet the perfect example of what happens when you start outsourcing your brain to a chatbot. Asking anti-ai people (who already don’t use ai) if they could survive the absolute loss of ai is… so fucking redundant. If we don’t use the thing, we won’t miss the thing!

We can focus on the good things but also acknowledge there are areas where it can improve. And I say this because it’s already a good show and working on these little fixes can make it a great show.

And it also irks me when they’re constantly yelling for feminism when it comes to Galadriel’s screen time, but there’s not a peep when you say “sooo you support more screen time for women like Disa and Miriel, too, right??”

But yes, screaming “if you don’t love Galadriel you’re misogynist” is very reductive, not to mention cheapening a term that has very important real life significance.

I feel the whole point of being a fan is being able to enjoy/love the show overall, and to be supportive of the efforts of the people who work on it, but also being able to say, “look this is where you’re falling short when it comes to rep” so the folk in charge can be aware and do better.
