Three years ago today, our family's lives changed forever because of #Sepsis This video tells the story of day 2 of my illness and the care that gave me a chance to survive. I'm fundraising for an adapted mountain bike so Arthur and I can get back to what we love. www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding...

Hi will, I've just sent you an email in behalf of Ruils Disabled Transport Forum about an inaccessible subway in Richmond borough. I'd appreciate some dialogue on this issue. It's the same subway in this video I made for wheels for wellbeing around 4.30 mins in. Thanks youtu.be/q-ZnnXd3M2s?...
We have launched an Instagram profile to highlight the work of the @ruils.bsky.social Transport and Mobility Forum. Our first video is about removing gates and barriers to parks in Richmond, SW London. @wheelsforwellbeing.org.uk #disability www.instagram.com/reel/DWi0kwA...

We successfully campaigned for @richmond_council to remove an unnecessary gate into the park that was limiting access for #Disabled people and those using mobility aids. Now that the gate is gone, all can easily access the park - wheelchair users, those using adapted bikes, cargo bikes, families with prams and more. We’re calling on the council to evaluate all gates and barriers in the borough to see if there is potential to remove them to improve access. No one should be locked out of their local park.#accessibility #disabledaccess #parks #greenspacewww.instagram.comI have an e-assist trike due to disability. I wouldn't be able to cycle with the assistance and it's still hard work. Ultimately I don't think it matters what people ride, they're still awesome. bsky.app/profile/jmk7...
jmk79Take, accept and celebrate the wins. My first full lap of Richmond Park in 39 minutes. Whist this journey is painful, both physically and mentally there are always opportunities to celebrate and be thankful for what I have left. #Cycling #disability
