I really need everyone to remember that the fossil fuel industry knew-knows exactly the climate hell we now inhabit, and are determined to make it FAR worse. That's because they have decided our lives are worth far less than their profits. We are not angry -or organised- enough.

🥵💀🥵🔥 The climate necropolitics of India's Modi and Adani government: This paper estimates heatwave excess deaths across India, due to lack of government data. 30'000 heat deaths due to a 5 day heat wave is roughly 23% above the national average, and it's an underestimate. A HUGE mass death event.

Another AC unit blasting hot air out a fully open business door, in my town this morning. It was only 24C - 75F outside.

This heatwave in Europe is insane. Over 10 days of beyond tropical nights (above 20C). No one here is prepared for this. Also, weather companies should by default publish pre 1990 averages alongside the forecast. Honestly, failure to do so is yet another kind of climate denial.

Is any European and/or German media going to pick this up? Or are we all supposed to be fine with the not-so-secret full on dictatorship of the tech-broligarchy? I know this word is overused, but this is shocking. Both in its existence and its cover up. This should be huge news, a major scandal.
