how many outgoing requests per second do you think for it’s reasonable to expect an error reporting library to handle? assuming these are being sent to an aggregator over the network.

second season of interview with a vampire is worse compared to season one in really unexpected ways?

okay new GitS is truer to the manga and i appreciate its lightheartedness but as a piece of media i think the 1995 film sits in an almost unattainable position

okay so i‘m back to thinking that delivery estimation is a waste of time for software projects and we should just not really try for “this software will be delivered by this date” but instead build some sort of ablative shielding into every plan that can be discharged from a plan as needed.

this is downstream of me getting way too high last night and having the revelation that i want to go build AI tooling for the IRS more than anything else i have wanted to do in my life except for maybe work on rockets.

MOST IMPORTANTLY, if the LLM makes the meta-problem of scam & fraud & general corporate irresponsibility more profitable then you use your regulatory apparatus to capture that profit center! make it financially ruinous to commit these crimes and you either dissuade the crime or make more money!

pork & kimchi nabe; using roasted chicken stock + dashi as the base instead of water. somehow did not have spring onions so @isabel.kim thinly sliced half a yellow onion instead and that‘s probably fine.

i am mad at the computer again that means it’s time to put it away. coming up with a way to reliably swarm test code with external state that you can’t /quite/ consistently model in the test engine is extremely frustrating and i am Done for today.

i hadn’t really intended on making a testing library but since that did end up happening i’ve been thinking a little about testing libraries recently. it’s interesting how this stuff needs to be built with good copy/paste UX in mind because god damn are people gonna copy/paste test code.
