so tired of people with no principles trying to frame every single moral grievance as petty and ridiculous they're functionally robots, programmed to keep the suffering machine going. not feeling guilt or empathy doesn't leave many feelings left - by then what's the point?

capitalism needs the two pronged approach. conservatives use jingoism to impress stupid people who know they're stupid. liberals use windbag wibbling to impress stupid people who think they're smart.

"wibbling": that thing liberal politicians do when they're doing something horrendously unpopular & evil where they make shambling corporate statements about how they "hear our concerns" & how cautious/thoughtful/pragmatic/respectful/thoughts&prayers they've been "don't be such a wibbling wiberal!"

"we cautiously considered this so very cautiously! we took your concerns very seriously & thought about them thoughtfully you simply wouldn't understand how cautiously thoughtful we're being now you have to take us very seriously & respect & understand us" sounds like a liberal politician 🫪

I'm really tired of "non-political" people. Politics means whatever they don't like and the more they dislike it the more politicised it is? "it's politics because it's wrong! that's what political means it means incorrect and petty & beneath me!" new conservatives with a new dogma - to what end?

I don't trust anyone who works for the BBC or trusts the BBC.

it's impossible to tell the difference between real police officers and impersonators because the same type of person would want to be both. real police officers, if they lost their job or never got accepted in the first place, would simply impersonate the police.

Fire Emblem has never had a good story. I put hundreds of hours into Three Houses but never for the narrative. The story in Engage was better because it was simple. I love complex narratives but FE has always sucked at it because it's actually really hard to create moral ambiguity about war.
