I don't think there's anything wrong with romantasy or romance as a genre! What's shitty is the implication that darker or more morally complicated characters are wrong and bad. It's that nasty puritanical attitude that some people seem dedicated to, it besmirches a perfectly good genre of fiction

I've heard the primary colors they stuck on that one example everyone knows are not accurate, there would have been shading and variation in shades. The example was to show where they found remnants of color on the statue, not an exact replication of the shading/rendering style
