This decision arguably misreads Calder, ignores the special weirdness of PJ for defamation, and ignores Ford Motor's revision of Bristol-Myers Squib. The defendant's brief egregiously misrepresents Ford. I could defend this outcome, but it isn't some kind of self-own by Patel's lawyers.
