(this is the problem with being really easy to distract before I can finish writing my thoughts down)

They're ragdolls - known for being good natured and relatively long lived. In the beginning I was looking for a cat that would be likely to get along well with my other cat. Since then I've just generally grown to love them

I guess we're gonna find out haha - I'm sure he's going to teach her to get on the counter when she's big enough 😅 Mostly he follows her around everywhere and plays with her and bathes her like he's the momma

In case you're wondering - she's doing great with the other cats, it only took 2 days

(I should say - there are varying ranges of technical familiarity for people who work in tech as there are varying roles / jobs / etc but of all people it seemed like a group of people that on average are probably more familiar with troubleshooting and Look, it's 5am

As someone who works with feedback, I definitely agree that having a detailed description is critical for anyone reporting an issue

As much as "have you tried rebooting?" or "Did you check it's plugged in?" often end up as jokes in threads about things you say in tech support, at least that's a quick solution for the person

because if someone who knows how to troubleshoot takes the effort to reach out, it's potentially a really challenging problem to solve (and not one with a recoded solution)

Both because they will likely be dismissive of the easy causes because they've already tried troubleshooting themselves (but this could still be the cause - people miss stuff sometimes) But also
