This date (April 15th) was one of the few times NYPD responded and did any enforcement on this block. NYPD Traffic wrote 6 summonses in the 600 block of 46th st 45 minutes later and noted "accompanied by 18th pct". Three summonses for sidewalk parking.

Tragic - but there are two things to point out. 1 - this UPS driver is parked illegally in a painted pedestrian island blocking the critical sight line 2 - 60th street is so wide approaching this intersection (50ft) that it has a 20ft wide parking lane.

Yesterday @tmobilesupport.bsky.social had a nationwide multi-hour outage. I tried to find a status page and couldn’t - good statement but a total miss on acknowledging outage while it was happening.

DOT published a late update to the streets master plan at beginning of this yr - said they built 18.2 of 50 mandated miles of protected bike lanes. Data is now published - and the count was 13.48mi of Greenway and Protected Class 1 bike lanes added in 2025. Eric Adams was a fraud.
