California's new $270M incentive program is for first-time EV buyers only, because research shows once drivers try an EV, they stick with them. Can other states trying to backfill lost federal EV tax credits with tight budgets try the same approach? www.canarymedia.com/articles/ele... #energysky

States have passed almost no measures restricting clean energy permitting in 2026, a big change from 2025. In fact, more states are pushing to streamline solar, wind and battery projects as the best (only?) near-term way to meet booming energy demand: www.canarymedia.com/articles/cle... #energysky

State legislatures are getting better at clean-energy permitting…Unlike in 2025, almost no states have passed laws that make it harder to permit and site renewables this year, a report finds. What’s driving the shift?www.canarymedia.com

PA has long failed to enable community solar. Warehouse and data center development mushrooms in PA. Proposed HB 1260 would require new warehouses to be solar-ready, incentivize retrofits. Add data centers to HB 1260, marry it to a community solar bill, pass both. Huge potential benefits.
