I disagree with Jane on this one. My son went through remote kindergarten and it was *hard* on us and maybe he only got like 75% of what he would have, but he got 75% of what he would have and made up the rest in 1st and 2nd grade rather quickly.
ex-Lethality JaneMy main beef with covid lock downs is that in my area the schools did distance learning for almost a full year and it was absolute nonsense to pretend that young children actually learned as much as they were supposed to that year. They should have just had everyone repeat a year of school.
