#MECFS peeps, can y'all share any tips and tricks for effective pacing? I've been on the sprint/crash cycle for way too long, and I need help figuring out how to escape it. Tools, apps, mantras, whatever you've got, throw em at me. I want it all.

I do this when I'm really into the conversation, lol

Sometimes I'll be sitting by the front window, reading a book, and my cat on the windowsill will wake from his nap, stretch out a slender foreleg with the toes all splayed, and gently touch my foot. His mouth opens so wide his eyes must close. A little noise escapes. The world is sometimes perfect.

Just got to step 9 out of 14 in my NC Medicaid application, filled it out, clicked "next," and was immediately met with one of those "sorry 😥 something went wrong..." type pages. Now I have to start the whole thing over. I am going to walk into the sea.

Other cat, who was puking all last night / this morning, hiding from us, refusing food, is suddenly TOTALLY FINE the second we get into the vet's office. Figures.

Cat update: he hasn't puked since this morning (but also hasn't really eaten). Vet ruled out kidney / liver damage AND GI obstruction, so we're fully into "idk, cats just Do This sometimes" territory. Anti-nausea meds and IV fluids, and I guess good vibes couldn't hurt.

Taking a couple of puking cats to the vet this morning. Anxiety pinging off the inside of my skull like a wiffle ball in a wind tunnel. Wish me luck y'all.
