Ehhhhh, that's something you'll have to unpack probably. There is a fundamental difference between white people not wanting to see minorities in things they like, and "any change of color or ethnicity" One is racism, the other is just story and casting choices.

Those are different stories made by different people, and the fact that they lead normal audiences to think Bane is white, or that Damian killed Nightwing, is part of the problem. Nobody gets to experience the actual stories first, so movies and games destroying characters stories, isn't great.

Talia had consensual sex with Bruce, then years later, a writer didn't like that and tried to change it. Also yes, while Injustice is a series that exists, it is specifically an Elseworlds story. Nolan's films could also be considered an Elseworlds story.

I mean, Catwoman's first appearance as a black woman happened in 1966 in a show that was directly adapting the comics releasing at the time. It's not like she doesn't count as an original Catwoman. Unless you're really attached to the green cape and purple pajamas Catwoman lol

In Nolan's films, Robin is a stalker cop whose literal middle name is Robin. Which is part of the pro-cop pro-military thing those films had going on. (Talia also did not rape Bruce, that was a retcon from like a decade later. And Damian didn't kill Nightwing, that was only in the Injustice games)

I think it's fine for some characters to get changed around. Catwoman has been black just as often as she's been white, and her personality is rarely tied to that But Ras and Bane's characters are deeply tied to their ethnicities, changing that actively harms any story you could tell with them.

Also like, the whole point of Ras Al Ghul is that due to Bruce and Talia getting together, and his respect for Bruce's skills, he eventually ends up as a respectful rival years later. So Nolan whitewashing and killing Ras, and then giving Talia no screentime is weird and has no basis in anything.

In Batman Begins he kills the "accurate" Ras Al Ghul, and then reveals later that the real version is white. Bane is supposed to be Latino, wears a Luchador outfit, and is not a henchman. Nolan's Bane is white with a ventilator mask, and is a front for Talia Al Ghul who had no screentime.

I don't like Nolan movies at all, mostly due to a lot of whitewashing he did with some Batman characters, and he's, really bad at writing women. But, it's also like, idk, there's more important shit to pay attention to than a movie I don't like
