I mean, this is a willfully stupid sentence. If an ICE agent is 30’ in front of a vehicle traveling 20mph, killing the driver (who’s then unable to brake) does not stop the vehicle immediately. Taking two steps to either side removes the agent from danger and can happen in 1 second
