Pretty much the Silicon Valley way of doing things

This was one of my fav arcade games as a kid. I would always play it whenever I stumbled upon a cabinet that had it. Too bad that it seems not many people know about it

My fav one was Shinseiki Evangelion 2 for PS2, I kept playing that shit even if I couldn’t understand most of what was going on. The battles were awesome though

You mean Battle Orchestra for the PS2? I played it back in the day (almost 20 years ago!) and while it was no Super Smash Bros it was kinda enjoyable for an EVA fan.

We can now have physical Amigas without the crazy prices other products come with. Hopefully this keeps getting worked on!

PiStorm then came along which was one of the best things ever to happen to the Amiga, filling the “FPGA promise” shoes. Finally cheap CPU, RTG, RAM and more for everyone. But what about the chipset? You still needed a real Amiga to make it run. This bridges the missing part.

This is what I hoped for years would happen with FPGA to allow Amiga to thrive as an hobby OS/computer and to easen the Amiga hardware prices out of control situation, but it didn’t as the Apollo Team instead of “saving the Amiga” as they promised they just kept raising prices to line their pockets.

But all in the Mother spirit so they fit very well. I am only in Podunk right now so I dunno if they will keep adding more stuff the farther I go. I hope it sticks to the original while adding new interesting stuff, while not diverting too much. Will report back

I have always treated JRPGs as a special interest, yeah! I really like them and I played lots (especially SNES ones). Anyway I finally finished (again) M1 on NES and now I have started my plaything of EBBR. From what I can see it’s pretty accurate but with added content - new monsters, new locations

Wow. Never knew about that and I have finished Ultima VI tens of times. Nice, I will try that next time I launch it

Oh I was not referring to the Hakko desoldering gun - my bad - but to one of these, which I only found recently that are based on an Hakko design. These things have INSANE sucking power. They easily clear massive holes filled with solder. Best solder sucker I have used when working on old boards

Next time it breaks (it’s a clone after all) I might try again with the Engineer one. Maybe I got a fluke, I dunno

I remember purchasing this after reading all the rave reviews about it. I was very disappointed on how it was less powerful than my Hakko-clone solder sucker. I immediately sent it back. Apparently the clone also has an heat resistant nozzle can just place the soldering tip next to it

Still it’s a game that has a special place in my heart - I should finally play FFL1 and 2 one of these days

I really liked FFL3 as a kid but everything is super-confusing (equips, magic, transformations) and unless you have a very in-depth FAQ at hand you will find fumbling around most of the times. It has some really good ideas (you will see that in the second half of the game) but it’s poorly executed

Monkey Island 1 (EGA version, if possible!) is one of my favorite games of all time. I somehow like 3 more than 2 but I know I am in the minority there. I should finally play Return one of these days…
