I genuinely believe that if online culture was the way it is now at the time of their release, beloved and excellent games like Halo 3 and Reach would have been reviled, nitpicked, and dismissed as "slop" I think a sizable portion of people online can't enjoy literally anything anymore

Any time I get a new Halo game I'm excited and happy, my only real complaint about Campaign Evolved is the weapon sound effects, particularly the assault rifle, are pretty anemic. But minor complaint, and it feels great revisiting a favorite game with a shiny new look!
