It’s not that it’s crazy, it’s just that there’s no evidence for it whatsoever. The “theory” is nothing but supposition and mildly (at least) xenophobic/racist innuendo.
It’s also easier/less existentially threatening to blame human activity rather than recognize that deadly viruses exist all around us, could spill over at any time, and there’s not a damn thing we can do about it 😳
This is, at best, an incredibly misleading oversimplification of current research. Making facially ridiculous claims about the science doesn’t help anyone.
Dude there are millions of people in this country who don’t know who the Vice President is, you think everyone has “hear[d] the actual evidence” on this particular niche issue?
An entire political party has made it their #1 and only priority to profile, stop, harass, assault, intern, torture, deport, and/or murder anyone and everyone with non-white skin, and FORTY PERCENT of those non-white people will still vote for that party.
It's really dispiriting how its become impossible to have any sort of discussion on this platform...even asking a good-faith question will immediately get you mobbed/labeled/added to blocklists.
Yes. But do you think that Republicans will see the error of their ways if only the pro-democracy contingent would just dutifully march to the gallows?
We've been trying this for nearly 10 years—not only has it not worked, Reps have only gotten MORE extreme (and been richly rewarded for it!)
Yes, though this way it's at least painfully obvious the inevitable prosecution is a sham and there isn't even an opportunity for the media to be like "well, what Fauci said isn't EXACTLY true so the charges aren't baseless"
Trump should nominate him for something so we can all watch Bernie Moreno willingly vote for the man who viciously assaulted his daughter and grandchild.
