Finally someone writing a review of what i expected this movie would be like.

We need to, as a culture, agree that there are actions and behaviors that, even if the person might be fully recovered and has done the work to get there... that they never interact with positions affording power again. No one is owed a place in politics, in management, or vulnerable populations.

As a weird kid and a weird adult... running my high school reunion and seeing so many folks twenty years later... and we still have very little in common and oh my goodness their lives are so boring.

Yeah. It sucks and represents how powerless we are to accommodate and redirect from the effects of our own activity as "advanced civilization". [I'm definitely not a doomer in my head, but] wildfire smoke, even if we work really hard on it, is going to be bad for the foreseeable future. 😕

Even if we start managing and promoting low intensity fire wildfire smoke is here to stay, and if we do a good job it might even get regularly more frequent before it gets lower intensity and more frequent. We're THAT far behind the forest management practices performed before white colonization.

But secondly, the prevailing monoculture lumber growing practices and suppressing all fires as much as possible both gave us decades of minimal/no wildfire smoke. It has also yielded a TON of fuel in places close to previously non-existent human habitation and no safe way to consume the fuel. /2

That's definitely inside with a mask weather, yiiiiikes. ❤️ There's a bit of a issue with a persons historical perspective with "smoke didn't happen like this before". Yes, climate change has created environmental conditions that yield hotter and larger fires. /1

This really tells just how much the ultra wealthy consider human teachers useless.

We want cameras pointed AT ICE not in their control, not at everyone else. Body cameras was a horrifyingly bad idea.

Body cameras in this case can only reduce all of our safety; Ice has now blanket authorization to record everyone around them, allowing them to feed this video and images into Plantir and add any person they want to their lists for intimidation, kidnapping, or murder. No body cameras.

They aren't even trying to hide the grift and conflicts of interest anymore.

Seems like something we've had coming for a hundred years, give or take.

Thanks, that's what I thought. Are you using "insurgents" to mean that they were relatively unknown/powerful and were able to unseat established candidates? (In this case, the very well known Diana DeGette, and until Trump v.2 pretty consistently approved of in the Dem voting base)
